POLYTECH - polyethylene snowplow series

Polyethylene snowplow designed to fit trucks with a GVW ranging from 80 to 150 quintals and agricultural tractors with a horsepower category range from 70 to 110 hp and weight ≤ 40 quintals. 

Completely made of high-strength steel and equipped with quick hitch plate for easy attachment complying with the standards DIN 76060/A, or, as an alternative option, a front 3-point hitch lift system for the agricultural vehicles. N. 1 front blade made of HDPE polyethylene. Cutting edge made of N. 3 independent sectors, available in stainless steel or in Neoprene.

The Polytech polyethylene snowplow is equipped with a mechanical system that enables the setting of the pitch angle to the ground (incidence angle). Elastomer shock-absorbing system, tie effect of the elastomers, obstacle overcoming system with complete forward overturning of every single blade sector and immediate return to the vertical working position once the obstacle is overcome. N. 2 pair of springs maintain the blade in vertical position during normal snow clearing operations.  Blade made of black HDPE. Painted with special anti-rust treatment and final paint RAL 2011 (orange). Overpressure valve in case of side impact, R2 pipes with fittings and unified quick couplings.

Mode of operation of the polyethylene POLYTECH snowplow

Hydraulically driven, through hydraulic cylinders for the left/right oscillation movements and for lifting/lowering movements. 

Power supply

24 V electro-hydraulic power unit installed, on request (optional), on the snowplow. As an alternative option, a special hydraulic system installed on the vehicle (one or two double-acting distributors required, one with a floating position).

Handling settings 

Control of the plow by means of the electric push-button panel, with cable of appropriate length, and of the electro-hydraulic unit equipped with a floating pressure switch. As an alternative option, commands already installed on the vehicle, if equipped with a hydraulic system (eg. Agricultural tractor)

Neoprene cutting edges, Led side-marker lights, pair of pivoting wheels adjustable in height, pair of additional lights with support on the DIN plate, electro-hydraulic control unit equipped with cable and push-button panel, rubber splashguard, bipolar electric cable with protection fuse to connect the control unit to the battery of the vehicle, DIN/A plate on the vehicle, possible processing techniques on the vehicle.
